Coaching Individuals and Teams provides leaders and agile coaches with the necessary mindset, skills and capabilities to effectively coach others toward higher performance. These leaders and coaches will also have greater adaptive capacity and collaboration within their teams.
Emphasis is placed on learning the skills of coaching and mentoring individuals and then taking those skills to the next level of coaching teams. We will focus on coaching the journey to high performance (task), as well as understanding team development (relationships), on inspiring commitment that produces repeatable and sustainable results.
Key outcomes of this deep dive intensive course include:
- Practice the use of coaching skills in one-on-one and small group conversations to guide others to make intentional and empowered choices to achieve desired objectives
- Nurture and mentor others to mastery of their skill or craft
- Explore and apply a model for coaching and mentoring conversations and be able to distinguish between coaching and mentoring conversations and know when to use which
- Create shared commitment to and engagement in support of the chosen actions
- Mentor others toward a specific area of expertise, based on experience with the subject matter
- Coach the journey to team high performance
- Work with the team as a holistic integrated system

CERTIFICATIONS
ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching Certification (ICP-ACC) – the course is accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile). Participants are eligible for the ICP-ACC Certification upon completion of this course. In order to receive the certification participants must attend the full course (not missing more than 1 hour of class time) and complete the simulation exercises.
This course also qualifies for 21 PDU’s under Leadership with the Project Management Institute.
CERTIFICATIONS
ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching Certification (ICP-ACC) – the course is accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile).
